Sample return mission. Dual-launch architecture.
Trajectory
Dual-launch architecture: LVM3 for the propulsion + ascender stack, PSLV for the sampler + return module. The two stacks rendezvous and dock in lunar orbit, the lander descends to the south polar region for sample collection, then the ascender returns samples to lunar orbit for transfer to Earth, India's first lunar sample return.
