H-IIA launch on a low-energy ballistic lunar transfer, slow (~4 months) but extremely propellant-efficient. SLIM demonstrated pinpoint landing technology with optical terrain-relative navigation, touching down just 55 m from its target near Shioli crater. It tipped onto its side at the last second but survived and operated through multiple lunar nights.
